Lymphatic Immune System Detox – 2 Day Workshop Newcastle

Lymphatic Immune System Detox

Two day training with Andy Webb covering lymphatic immune system detox, muscular and spiritual body balance and neck freedom. Why you might want to consider learning how to do a lymphatic immune system detox…

Doing what you can in a preventative way, before something really bad happens is a smart move. Especially when its easy to learn and you can share it with the people you are closest to.

This can help with:

  • Preventing dementia
  • Increasing immune system effectiveness
  • Relieving migraines
  • Cancer support / prevention
  • Releasing bodily stress

Dementia for me is a serious concern. One of my relatives has this and is existing as a shell of who she was. I don’t think she would want to or choose to be cared for in a home with essentially none of her faculties. I believe she would rather be dead but that person who could make such choice, called self determination died a long time ago. Her body lives on, but that is all.

Your lymphatic system as well as being an essential part of your immune system, drains about three liters of toxins and debris full of excess protean, bacteria and cancerous cells. The glymphatic ( brain lymph ) also flushes away excess protean, the stuff that is believed to be responsible for dementia.

People report clearer thinking, improved body alignment and wellbeing after treatments.

You can learn how to do your best to keep your body and mind, through preventative treatment, young, healthy and wellbeing.

Over two days learn through practice an entire lymphatic immune system detox, body balance and neck freedom process.

This hands on training is completely about transmission of both mechanical skill and the sincerity and belief to transmit something more than a physical treatment. Activating the psyco-somatic healing, balance and longevity.

Ericksonian Methods and Stories for Working with Pain in the 21 Century : June 15-16

A workshop on using Ericksonian methods for the 21 century from Nigel Hetherington and Phil Jeremiah.

Your clients have pain and the trust you to do something anything so that you can help them somehow, even if it’s just a little bit of relief or something very much more. Your clients can have any combination of physical and psychological pain from anxiety to neuropathic pain that is non responsive to drugs.

You have pain when you’re searching for inspiration or yet another technique after the tools you have learned and mastered,  have failed.  You basically start over thinking, and move out of your creative intuition, your wisdom, and begin to panic, fuelling all the thinking, and techniques that in that moment won’t feel congruent to you and most likely not to your clients either.

When the technique fails, the real learning and work begin

There is a deep wisdom in storytelling. This is what Erickson, whether just a little indirect or very indirect  is famous for. This is the same story telling for healing that Aldus Huxley, a good friend of Erickson incorporates both directly and overtly in his book Island. Advocating healing at levels that are associative, indirect and sometimes an ordeal to experience and as such either bypassing too much thinking mind resistance or utilising the thinking mind frustrations.

Working holistically with your client, you really do want to deeply validate their pain and genuinely express your compassionate understanding of their entire situation. This is a true way to begin an organismically honest interaction. This is also a key to feeding your spontaneity and intuition in the work you will do with your client together and apart.

Some of the specific areas for exploration will be: the complexity of pain management, symptom imperative, constructing metaphors/embedded nested loops, double binds for conscious and unconscious processing, naturalistic trance, ordeal and tasking, completing gestalts, the use of mythology, philosophy and psychology, placebos possibilities and playfulness.

Information points for this training

  • Specifically for practising / experienced therapists
  • We are stressing this is an experimental workshop, where we can offer frame works for story telling where this is likely to be some techniques though don’t expect them, rather stories for the transmission of ideas of change and healing.
  • Developing your creativity, intuition and spontaneity
  • Being yourself and not some Erickson clone.

Phil and Nigel have been working with and teaching hypnosis for more than forty five years combined and they are still learning. Nigel and Phil have trained with the likes of  Ernest Rossi, Jeffrey Zeig, Sidney Rossen, Steve Gilligan and Bill O’Hanlon and together have just about every article and book by and about Erickson. And … are still learning. This is an invitation to come and join us and enjoy the wonderment, artistry, wisdom and genius of Milton Hyland Erickson and yourself.

Thought Provoking Philosophising : March 2019 Humour in Therapy and Coaching

Thought Provoking Philosophising with Phil Jeremiah IV is a exceptional workshop in March 2019 in Newcastle upon Tyne. Learn the structures of how to use humour in therapy and change work to help clients rewire their neurology, attitudes and identity for increased happiness and increased freedom.

When you are laughing pain doesn’t hurt

You will experience pain in our life and you know this as sure as you will take your next breath. Usually after sufficient time has passed you heal and in some ways limp on or with a full recovery go forward. Pain however is a universal constant that will always, in some form or another be around the corner.

Pain comes in a spectrum of flavours; ranging from the physical, psychological and emotional. Pain can also be perpetuated with thoughts, memories or the kind of circular thinking that gets you nowhere except further down into a mire of sadness and despair. And here we are talking about perpetuating habits.

Escaping from a habit is not always so easy when you try to do it on your own.  Habits are the hard wired aspects of your thinking and behaving this is about learning how through, humour, distraction and pattern interrupting to derail problematic old patterns and create proper choice.

So coming to this Thought Provoking Philosophising workshop as someone who wants to work with personal issues or learn the structures to be using humour as an intervention tool or both will be a very wise decision.

This training and encompassing drills are like a Brain Spar weekend to rejuvenate, refresh and invigorate your neurons into delicious new pathways while pruning off what was left of the winters passed.

Thought Provoking Philosophising is Safe and Effective

Explaining in advance the kind of art form and techniques you will gain from this workshop is important. There is no just starting to use humour and irrelevance to change problem behaviours or thinking without the correct methods and explanations in advance. This is The Bubble of Possibility.

The Bubble is a safe space where the art of Thought Provoking Philosophising takes place. You will learn all about this early on in the first morning. Then the days will evolve outwards with demonstrations and a great deal of practicing drills, which when brought together, lead to the art in practice.

Now, helping clients change is both the clients and therapists role. The therapist is an outside influence that will both recognise and then provoke you out of negative and self defeating patterns using humour, irrelevance and sincere compassion, creating new neural patterns and pathways away from pain and problems.

Attend this Thought Provoking Philosophising to learn an art that can help you and your clients move away from problem behaviours and habits into that river of life that moves us onwards into the living real life that is our human right.

Completing this workshop you will have :

  • The structures and patterns that come together to make an art form in chance work and therapy.
  • The ability to recognise and divert problem thinking and behaviour into new neural patterns of choice.
  • Expanded and enhanced your skills and methods to help your clients more; and yourself.
Disclaimer : Those who are about to laugh, we salute you. Humour in this sense, the sense of Thought Provoking Philosophising is not about telling jokes. This is about learning structures and patterns through drills and practice. To create a workable art form.

Thought Provoking Philosophising Training Newcastle : October 2018

Thought Provoking Philosophising Training Newcastle with Phil Jeremiah IV. You will experience the Percussion, Concussion and Discussion model of how specifically to arrange the context for provocative change.

There are many variants of using humour and irrelevance in change work and there are two unique aspects to taking on and incorporating in your work with a Provocative Coaching Training Newcastle. Firstly there is the Phil factor which having trained with him you will know. Phil is teaching you to own the patterns and apply them as yourself, in your own unique style.

Secondly, an aspect that is missing from many if not most training’s in the provocative method is how to set up and frame what is going to happen to your clients, be this in therapy or coaching. This essential framing allows and facilitates the essence of being provocative. This is called in the inner circle ‘The Bubble of Possibility’.

The Bubble of Possibility – A Humourful Provocative Space for Change

This is the well defined ‘safe space’ of absolute inclusion where nothing is out of bounds and just about anything goes in light of helping a client get unstuck using an array of patterns which are shared in great detail during the training weekend.

A bubble session can be thought of as a kind of brain spa treatment session where your entire body has the potential to be drenched in laughter, confusion and new meanings, solutions and experiences that can completely re-write the old story of what was once a real problem.

Thought Provoking Philosophising Training Newcastle October 2018

Taking this unique training with Phil Jeremiah IV is highly practical and you will get to experience, by demonstration, how to apply the serious use of humour in therapy and coaching. There is a course manual detailing the many varied patterns utilised within a session.

Throughout the two days unique training you will get to see, first hand ( it may be you ) a selection of real change work and therapy sessions. Sessions are 20 minutes in duration, framed within The Bubble of Possibility, Percussion, Concussion and Discussion model.

Discussion being so important it will get a mention here. When genuine and meaningful discussion becomes apparent, this is where tenderness and honest communication becomes vital; this is the beginnings of re-writing a story of love and integrity take shape.  And it is the client who is the author of their change.

Newcastle NLP Practice Group : Saturday June 9th 2018

Newcastle NLP and Hypnotherapy practice group for a monthly practice day on Saturday. This coming June, Saturday 9th for a day of NLP and Hypnotherapy practice. Some prearranged topics and others will be decided on the day.

Following on from an engaging conversation about allergies, potential room hire and current favorite author; several topics for exploration have emerged. A few are as follows: Grace and gracefulness, how to see difference in the same way and useful reductionism.

Newcastle NLP Practice Group

Grace and Gracefulness

The eyes go forth to seek out a recommendation for the heart …” – Giraut de Bornelh

Trying to be or act with grace is a sure fire way to attain the opposite, whatever that may be. We can and do recognise Grace in others and I suggest that is how, without self reflection we know it.

I would like to explore what ‘we’ mean by grace, a state of grace and gracefulness as a way of both unfolding meaning and perhaps as way of feedback and even concocting some process to wake this up more in each of us.

What I suggest as an outset, is grace can have zero, sum and total thought as well as the observable behaviours others can notice. Seemingly connected to congruence, skills in a field and belief, it will be worth contrasting this with some of the politicians we love to dislike.

How to See Difference in the Same Way

But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.” Romeo & Juliet

Conceptual blending is a term I can across in reading ‘Imagine’ one of the exceptional offerings from Jonah Lehrer. The idea is that seemingly intractable problems are solved ( or created ) when different fields of knowledge are blended.

I hade 20 minutes just sitting, watching, listening, feeling the river ( see above picture ). Noticing the different sounds, smells and sensations as I moved a little distance. I was thinking about quantum physics and chaos theory. Hobbies of mine. This is metaphorical conceptual blending.

Walking back home, I saw a group of Rambellers, rambelling. Out of a field, the came, like a flow, like a river. Discordant voices that as I approached ( remember the average age of a Rambler is over 90 ), became coherent, and as I passed the group, perhaps 30, their voices died down, like the past memories of before at the river.

Useful Reductionism

So, I mentioned my current fav. author. Well at the moment it reading Skin In the Game by Nassim Nicholas Taleb. One of the layered ideas in this gem of a book is the idea of reductionism. That is making things simpler by subtraction.

Another different way to think of this is the mantra ‘neti neti’; Not this, not this as a way of reducing suffering in a cold climate. In terms of our every growing desire to read more self help books, find happiness and abstract themes like love and peace, what can we stop doing?

Humour Worx : Provocative Change : Workshop : Newcastle 28-30 July

Humour Worx and it all begins in the ‘Bubble of Possibility‘. Provocative Change is all about the structured and unstructured ( spontaneity ) use of irrelevance. Irrelevance has a structure so this should at least be confusing. Here we go!

Get an amazing solution oriented set of key skills to add to your tool box with Humour Worx Provocative Change.

The ‘Bubble Of Possibility’ is a metaphor, and from the outset, The Bubble creates a safe and genuinely challenging space to be prodded, poked and encouraged to explore a problem, a limitation or a thought. This is the safe space where provocative change happens. The Bubble is necessary to set the stage of what can happen. Anything, everything and all that is in between.

Phil has been coming to Newcastle to teach his Humour Worx since 2010. Phil’s work is constantly evolving and is based in solid structures that have a way of creating neuro-plastic change in the brain that is soaked in humour.

As a participant you will be learning patterns and drills ( which are easy to learn ) which culminate in a set of skills, suitably framed, that are a perfect addition to your current skills set.

Provocative Change Patterns

This is Phil’s latest work which is comprising of updated structure of Humour Worx being 20 patterns and an additional day of the advanced stuff which is rarely taught, as they say, the cutting edge. Here are some of the patterns.

  • Voice Technology
  • Don’t worry about that
  • Where there is blame there is a claim
  • Problem justification shuffle
  • Research shows

Over three days you will be internalising some 20 linguistic patterns of Provocative Change in Humour Worx BUT as seasoned practitioners know the linguistic patterns are just a part of the congruent attitude that both verbal and non-verbal excellent change workers demonstrate.

You will be developing your own personal style of expression of the Provocative Change Humour Worx system which on day three will grow into the reality you can create and project.

The three days are centered around genuine Bubble Session where you will experience Phil working 1:1 in 20 minute sessions. Did you know it takes around 20 minutes to create, that is grow and solidify new neural connections?

This is an excellent opportunity to work with and model ( in my opinion ) the best Provocative Change exponent. The workshop is also excellent value.

Weight Loss & Pain Management Workshop

OK so you or your clients want to lose weight it’s that simple. So from the outset, it’s all the about the past – a past that has been stopping, restraining or imprisoning you. A bold statement, perhaps, so let’s explain.

When the past is mentioned its like everything you know was learned at some point and for most people, habits or expectation about the future are predictions made from past experience.

With weight loss, these are the disabling beliefs that circle around diets and miracle cures like vultures, ever ready for the next celebrity endorsed meal. What needs to change, must change for something long lasting is the entire foundation that is the emotional baggage and past we have all carried.

NLP Hypnotherapy Newcastle

There is a gateway to the imagination you must enter before you are conscious and the keys to the gate are symbols. You can carry ideas through the gate … but you must carry the ideas as symbols” – Frank Herbert

These very predictions of behaviour, thought and emotion are to avoid pain be it emotional, psychological or physical. And are the foundation of how and what we are today in behaviours, thoughts and emotions.

Digging up, basically removing the old foundations to create a very new basis means coming to terms, letting go and being reborn, like a Phoenix, could clear the way, open fresh possibilities, new possibilities to spectacular new ways of being – this means letting go of the fear-avoidant way we move through life is incredibly liberating.

Even being open to new possibilities creates change, the ground for liberation.

liberate means to be free. To stop coping with life the way you have. To open to the possibility of new and effortfully-joyful ways relating to yourself, food and … a lush way of living in a much more connective way.

This workshop will explore how pain ( physical and emotional ) can be liberated in means by a way of newly freshly taken in information and the resultant integration giving-creating genuine choice and purpose in losing weight.

What Will I Be Learning?

Some time ago, I was texted by a prospective student for an NLP/Hypnotherapy ‘what will I be learning in actuality’ – well this is important in regards to both weight loss and pain release; For two reasons.

Knowing what is being learned kind of defeats the idea of learning anything new. Usually this at best maps something different with new to old learning ( what we are trying to avoid ) and secondly they were too lazy to look at my web site.

Committing to both learning and embedding new habits is crucial in making any long lasting change. This requires effort. But – effort in the right place which is primarily psychological as well as behavioural.

Releasing the emotional and physical pain of past experiences and learnings has the potential to immediately create new ways of being in the world. Such past shocks to the psyche are going to be liberated with a method based in aspects of The Tibetan Book of the Dead. Kind of like acknowledging and letting be the vulnerable child in parts work. Tears of release anticipated!

What is a critical part in any change work is belief that change is possible. This is not like the ‘i would like to believe’ as would be many a religions practitioner in word but a deep, honest and forward feeling belief. More than faith but with stories of possibility we are creating a fertile ground for change.

A belief like this ( if its not already there ) is about stories, be they religious, scientific or anywhere in-between. It’s also about opening to the possibilities of change at a deep and sustainable level.

Following on from these aspects, we are looking backwards from the future, remembering what happened to create, shake and move us in the correct directions … and to move ourselves. This is rooted in our own deep and very honest values. What I call Spiral Dynamic Informed Future Pacing.

So a quick round up of some of the ways and means of pain release and weight loss.

  • Commitment and correct effort to succeed
  • Tibetan liberation from the past
  • Pain release
  • Creating a self motivated and purposeful future
  • Follow up and post session on Zoom

This workshop is informed with works from many of the most inspirations and meaningful books I have read. This is ranging from neuroscience to spirituality which offer the stories and the structures that can support change.

Mythology ( a story ) is “A traditional tail with secondary partial reference to something of collective importance.” – Berkert/Meineck

Stress and anxiety in one form or another account for up to 70% of the reasons clients come to see us. So it seems clients are contacting us in their quest for a healthier, stress free, happier life.

Perhaps much of the time you are able to connect and offer tools and therapeutic work that can help you clients achieve this. We are also ‘guessing’ sometimes you can’t.

Anxiety Workshop

In these instances have you ever honestly felt as though there is no getting through to a client who is so caught up in their problems nothing seems to release them from being stuck on the proverbial ‘hamster wheel’ they go round and round in?

As a therapist perhaps you yourself have struggled with a busy mind, overthinking, or second guessing yourself? As humans we can all easily fall into the trap without realising we are causing much of our own anxiety and stresses .

Perhaps something we would all benefit from is a bit more patience, to not to get unnecessarily irritable or overwhelmed at certain times and cultivate the ability to neither live in the past or future but live in the now.

I myself was at a funeral a few months ago, while there I watched people and felt myself, go through a wide range of emotions, from devastation, to frustration, anger sadness, fondness to laughter as memories were recalled and tales were told.

Such a vast amount of changing emotions in each and every person, yet nothing had changed – no matter how much we wished it had, so what happened ? How is it possible to change our feelings moment to moment ?” – julie

Understanding how we function as human beings is core to this training – by giving you the therapists real time felt experiences – through simple processes, stories and metaphor – in hand with a deeper understanding about our influenced and influencing part in them, will give and offer you a much greater advantage to helping your clients ( and you ) overcome stress, worry, anxiety and panic.

Who Is This Training For?

This two day training offered by Nigel Hetherington and Julie Brown will be interactive, thought provoking and real.

For Therapists and Counsellors

It is open to anyone who works with clients and through some simple techniques and understanding of how we as people work could quite possibly transform the way you work with clients as well as in your own experience of life with yourself, friends, family and colleagues.

For People Who Want Solutions to Their Anxiety

Most of us have suffered from one form of anxiety or another. This workshop will offer effective tools to help you make friends with and tame your over active thoughts. This of course takes effortful commitment.

Be prepared to come with an open mind allowing everything you have previously been taught to one side, for now and allow yourself to engage from anew.
