Remapping Your Many Selves

We are a deeply interconnected and interdependent people and so we interact countless times each day with others. The people we interact with have their own roles and unique perspectives just like you. Most of the time you get on well and things are absolutely fine and occasionally they are anything but fine.

Sometimes you will interact with other people who seem to always want to take control of everything. When this happens they they create divisions, start power struggles and often come across as obnoxious know all’s who really don’t know what they are doing.

Other times you will notice someone who looks like they are holding back, don’t seem to fit in or don’t look like they are engaged at all. They stand out like a sore thumb, don’t seem to be part of any group and you might wonder what their story is?

And have you ever noticed those people who seem to anything to make a situation better, at least in their eyes? Usually with unintended and disappointing results?

Well, all those people, when you recognise them, are likely aspects of you! These are the kinds of habitual responses we are all working with, navigating and remapping for a better voyage in life. Changing your maps, remapping, means changing your relationships, both with others and yourself.
